Engineering Manager (m/f/d)

Not everyone wakes every morning wanting to be a manager of a team – but you do! Leading a software team to build amazing products is a complex affair. You enjoy diving into technology, the processes and leading the people who build the product.

We are looking for you, because you lead our teams to achieve our goals and make our customers more successful.

We live Kaizen and so do you. You are familiar with Agile software delivery processes, and you know what it means to manage the system for the benefit of the people.

A proven software engineering background helps you to establish credibility with our engineers.

Your tasks

  • You lead our fantastic international engineering team and take them to the next level

  • You will coach, mentor, develop and inspire 7-10 Software Engineers

  • You will help to develop and to evangelize great engineering practices in our team

  • Facilitating collaboration, communication and decision making

  • You work closely with Product Owners and other departments

Your skills

  • You have 3+ years of experience in managing engineers and cross-functional software development teams

  • You are able to quickly build trustful relationships with your team 

  • You are an empathetic person and can put yourself in the shoes of others

  • You have demonstrated project management experience and skills

  • You are a good recruiter and you have experience bringing new starters up to speed

  • Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written (German not required but helpful)
