Meet the leaders
David Feichter (CEO)
David was a Director of Product Management in the POS and payment industry for more than 15 years. Among others, he worked for NCR Silver in Atlanta, USA and in Silicon Valley for Verifone and Clover. David also used his time in California to expand his knowledge of design thinking process and business management at Stanford and Berkeley. In 2019, David joined orderbird and has built a strong team of product managers and designers to shape the next phase of the company's product and service offering for hospitality and SME customers in Europe. He has led the company as CEO since August 2023.
Peter Helf (CFO)
Numbers have defined Peter's career for more than 20 years. He started his career as a sales controller at a subsidiary of Bayer AG. As Group Controller, he supported a merger that resulted in Symrise AG, for which Peter also worked in the USA as a business analyst and controller. Since 2016, Peter has been contributing his financial knowledge to orderbird and is constantly working with his team to increase the transparency of the figures so that the company can make better decisions. Peter has also been Managing Director since August 2023.
Kristina Kierner (CRO)
Kristina has been at home in the tech industry for over 12 years and most recently worked as Director Sales & Marketing at EVO Payments. She joined the orderbird management team at the beginning of 2024 and strengthens the management team as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Kristina is responsible for the areas of marketing and sales. Her main focus is on developing new strategic growth measures and further expanding orderbird's strong market position in the DACH region.
Frank Schlesinger (CTO)
Frank has long been committed to advancing development teams and product organizations. He led his first software development team in the FinTech industry at tolina GmbH. In 2014, Frank was Head of Agile and then Head of Technology at ImmobilienScout24. He first joined orderbird in 2017 as Head of Product Management and Engineering and was then promoted to Chief Technical Officer in 2019, taking responsibility for the technical direction and development of the company. Frank was a child of two restaurateurs and born with a passion for the hospitality industry.
